Frances Taylor
We offer professional, friendly legal advice and representation in courts throughout Scotland.
Frances graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2015 with a Joint Honours in International Business and French. This
included spending a year studying at the prestigious EMLYON business school in Lyon.
Upon graduation, Frances worked as a marketing executive before returning to the University of Strathclyde to study Law
(Scots and English dual-qualifying) at the University of the Strathclyde. She graduated in 2018 and the following year
completed her Diploma in Professional Practice from the same institution.
Frances began her traineeship with McGovern Reid in 2022 and is now a qualified solicitor. In addition to her interest in criminal
defence and road traffic matters, Frances leads our Child Law department and regularly represent clients at Children’s
Hearings. Frances works hard to ensure the best possible outcome in every case.
Frances adopts an empathetic approach to all cases and recently completed Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid (SMFHA)
course.
